Geotab has added J.J. Keller Encompass Fleet Management System with Elogs to its Geotab Marketplace to help customers comply with the electronic logging device (ELD) mandate that takes effect on Dec. 18.
The system has been endorsed by 37 state trucking associations, as an online tool for managing hours of service and improving driver and vehicle compliance.
"Our partnership with J.J. Keller enables fleet owners who know and trust the J.J. Keller brand for their compliance needs, to expand their business with the Geotab solution tools for productivity, safety, fleet management and back office software integration," said Colin Sutherland, Geotab's executive vice president.
Encompass also offers additional driver and vehicle compliance tools to help fleets comply with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) requirements, such as driver qualification, drug and alcohol program management, driver training, accident tracking, vehicle maintenance and unit legalization.
Ready-made reports, alerts and notifications of required compliance tasks, and built-in regulatory guidance are a few ways Encompass helps fleets reduce risk and improve the efficiency of their operation.
"Whether fleets select J. J. Keller compliance experts to manage their data from Geotab, or choose to manage their hours of service program themselves using Encompass, we have a solution," said Rustin Keller, executive vice president of J. J. Keller & Associates.
