GEM Launches 2009-MY Electric Vehicles
FARGO, ND– Global Electric Motorcars (GEM) has launched its 2009-model-year line with a variety of option packages.
FARGO, ND– Global Electric Motorcars (GEM) has launched its 2009-model-year line with a variety of option packages. The 2009-MY vehicles combine the most popular options with new tailored options. For example, for GEM customers who like to accessorize their GEM cars, there’s the Deluxe Exterior Package, with chrome light bezels, license plate lamp, hood decals, and high-low beam headlights.
For customers who want to dress up the interior of their GEM cars, there’s the Deluxe Interior Package with a deluxe steering wheel, embroidered floor mats, and two-toned seats. Or, if customers want to combine all the new option packages together for a reduced price, they can choose the LX Package.
There are now more than 38,000 GEM electric vehicles on the road. GEM customers include college campuses, sports teams, governments, the military, medical centers, corporate campuses, master-planned communities, and resorts.
GEM manufactures and distributes neighborhood electric vehicles (NEVs) that are an environmentally-friendly transportation alternative. GEM vehicles drive the equivalent of 150 miles per gallon and cost about two cents per mile to operate.
