FourKites, a real-time tracking platform provider, has announced that its platform is available on the Geotab Marketplace.
With FourKites, Geotab customers can share real-time location information of specific loads with internal and external customers. This allows shipping and receiving locations to plan in advance for arrivals, streamlines loading and unloading and reduces wait times to get a truck back on the road efficiently.
Automatic ETA and delay notification reduce the number of phone calls, text, and emails to and from drivers, and allow carriers to get rid of EDI transmissions.
“Geotab is becoming a crucial player in the ELD telematics space, and with this partnership, Geotab customers can not only share their data and location in real-time with their shipper and broker partners but also gain valuable insights to help analyze their operations,” said Mathew Elenjickal, CEO of FourKites.
The Geotab Marketplace is a complement to the MyGeotab platform. The companys aid it provides customers with an "ecosystem" of business-focused applications and add-ons.
“Through our partnership with FourKites, Geotab customers have real-time supply chain visibility and logistics solutions across transportation modes, allowing for efficient management of their loads,” said Neil Cawse, CEO of Geotab. “With advanced tracking information, this integrated solution provides one more way to increase customer service and boost the productivity of their fleet.”
