TALLAHASSEE, Fla. --- An appeals court last week ruled in favor of the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation, affirming the agency's power to sanction Allstate for failing to turn over documents in an ongoing investigation of property insurance rates and policy cancellations, the News-Press reported.
However, the 1st District Court of Appeal also reaffirmed a stay on the ban, the News-Press reported. Any appeal motion from Allstate must be filed before 5 p.m. on April 14.
