FleetMatics Names Karen Leavitt as Chief Marketing Officer
BOSTON - FleetMatics announced the addition of Karen Leavitt as Chief Marketing Officer. Reporting to FleetMatics CEO Jim Travers, Leavitt is responsible for all corporate branding, marketing, and communications activities.

Reporting to FleetMatics CEO Jim Travers, Leavitt is responsible for all corporate branding, marketing, and communications activities.

Leavitt has more than 30 years of experience growing high technology companies by implementing aggressive marketing strategies to accelerate growth.

Before joining FleetMatics, Leavitt was CMO at Landslide Technologies, a privately-held, customer relationship management (CRM) software provider. She has also held CMO positions at SaaS call center provider Contactual (now 8x8), social software company Mzinga, and online collaboration innovator Intranets.com (now Cisco WebEx). Earlier in her career, she held various marketing and product roles at NewsEdge Corporation, Digital Equipment Corporation, and Lotus Development Corporation. She attended Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts.
