Fleetio has launched an integration with Zubie, a connected-car platform and service provider, that enables business customers to increase the efficiency of fleet operations and reduce costs through automated odometer updates and other features, according to the company.
To ensure vehicle mileage and preventative maintenance triggers are up-to-date, the integration will allow users to sync odometer readings every day or use a one-click option to manually trigger a sync at any time. Users can see a vehicle's current location and driving status on the vehicle profile page within Fleetio and navigate to the Zubie map view or device view for a particular vehicle directly from the vehicle profile in Fleetio.
"The integration between Fleetio and Zubie provides us a more holistic view of fleet management and vehicle location data, allowing our team to streamline tasks and save time," said Michael Crafton, owner of 360 Services, an Indianapolis service fleet. "Automatic odometer updates pushed into Fleetio from Zubie keep us on top of maintenance tasks and ensure data is always up-to-date and accurate."
"Fleetio is known for its fleet management software that helps businesses more effectively manage their assets," said Zubie CEO Tim Kelly. "Now through Zubie's ZinC platform and App Store, Fleetio can bolster its capabilities and value to its customers with real-time location information, driver performance, engine monitoring and other capabilities.
