Fleet Safety Award Winner Selected
The winner of the 2018 Fleet Safety Award has been selected and will be revealed at the 2018 Fleet Safety Conference located at a new location near Las Vegas in Henderson, Nevada.

The winner of the 2018 Fleet Safety Award has been selected and will be revealed at the 2018 Fleet Safety Conference located at a new location near Las Vegas in Henderson, Nevada.
The award honors a fleet or risk manager whose leadership and innovation have enhanced the safety of fleet drivers and the general public. Candidates working with light- and medium-duty fleets were eligible for the award. Last year’s Fleet Safety Award winner was Joe Rader, VP of risk services for Fisher Auto Parts.
The American Automotive Leasing Association (AALA) and Automotive Fleet magazine produce the Fleet Safety Conference, which this year will be held at the M Resort Spa Casino near the Las Vegas Strip during Oct. 29 to 31, 2018, a few months later than the conference has been historically held. A panel of industry leaders evaluated the nominations to determine the winner.
The award will be presented October 30 at the conference, which is in its seventh year. The HDT Safety and Compliance Award will also be revealed at this year’s conference, which recognizes a professional who manages heavy-duty, Class 8 fleets.
