CLEVELAND – Fleet Response has promoted Mark Wearsch to vice president, Information Technology. In his new role, Wearsch's duties will now include responsibility for strategic development and oversight of all technology at Fleet Response, in addition to personnel management, hardware acquisition, and oversight of internal and external application development.

"Over the past eight years, Mark has proven to be vital member of the Fleet Response team," said Scott Mawaka, president, and COO. "Mark's keen software development skills to address client needs make him a key individual to meeting corporate objectives."

Since joining Fleet Response in 2001, Wearsch has rewritten all in-house management software and migrated all applications and hardware from DOS to a Windows platform. He has also redesigned OLIS, the company's Web based client application and expanded it to include salvage and heavy equipment capabilities.  In November 2005, Wearsch took on the role of director of Information Technology and grew Fleet Response's team of in-house application developers that created and maintains all systems used by the sales, call center, claims, and subrogation departments.
