WASHINGTON - Saab Cars North America is recalling 4,400 model-year 2010 and 2011 Saab 9-3 passenger vehicles because of a potential fuel pump problem, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
Some fuel pumps installed as original equipment may have internal components with incorrect specifications. These fuel pumps can potentially cause the engine to stall, posing a safety risk. The vehicles covered by the safety recall were all manufactured from June 2010 through December 2010.
