Executive Level Changes Announced at General Motors Fleet & Commercial Operations
General Motors Fleet & Commercial Operations (FCO) has announced a series of executive level changes.
General Motors Fleet & Commercial Operations (FCO) has announced a series of executive level changes. Gary Meteer, on special assignment to dealer network working with GMICT, retired from General Motors on April 1, 2004. Ed Berger, director - rental sales for GM FCO has left the company to pursue other interests. Tom White has been named director - rental sales for GM FCO. In this role, White oversees all GM sales to rental car companies in the U.S. while helping manage the balance between GM supply and rental demand. Assuming White's former position of director - customer support & order management/forecasting is Joe Switalski. Previously, Switalski was director - global sales. Bill Gibson, director - fleet & commercial sales, assumed global sales responsibilities for GM FCO following Switalski's new assignment. In other personnel announcements, Dave Kanous has been named zone manager Houston. Previously, Kanous was director of cross vehicle marketing and special vehicle manufacturers. Assuming Kanous’ former responsibilities is Brian Bowden. In this role, Bowden's primary responsibility is overseeing GM commercial advertising, promotions and shows, and managing GM's relationship with commercial truck and van upfitters. Steve Jozwick has been named marketing manager for van fleet marketing. Assuming Jozwick's former position as manager, shows, events and collateral is Craig Duffy.
