EVI Establishes Michigan Office and Expands California Manufacturing Operations
STOCKTON, CA and SOUTHFIELD, MI – Electric Vehicles International (EVI) has opened a new office in Southfield, Mich. The company said its new office will primarily support EVI’s national sales and marketing efforts.
STOCKTON, CA – Electric Vehicles International (EVI) has opened a new office in Southfield, Mich. The company said its new office will primarily support EVI’s national sales and marketing efforts. The company added that it expanded its manufacturing capabilities at its Stockton, Calif., headquarters, adding 30,000 square feet to the plant plus installing new equipment. EVI stated the expansion will allow it to “maximize production of core electric vehicles.”
“EVI is excited about establishing a Michigan office and sees this as the next crucial step in broadening our footprint. Michigan is the core of the automotive industry and we look forward to partnering with key companies as EVI grows,” said Frank Jenkins, Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “Our plant improvements in California will help EVI modernize our electric vehicle manufacturing process, increase our production capacity and provide additional jobs.”
