The 2004 IARA Remarketing Roundtable Series, designed to address the needs and priorities of vehicle remarketers, is slated to kick off January 21, immediately prior to the 2004 Conference of Automotive Remarketing (CAR), at the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. Registration is available on the IARA Web site, www.iaraonline.org, and is free to all IARA members. If you are a non-IARA member registered for CAR 2004, you are eligible to attend the IARA luncheon and Roundtable meeting free of charge. The first discussion at the IARA Roundtable will address the organization's Upstream Remarketing Survey. The Roundtable discussion will consist of: * Results of the recent remarketing survey performed by Emergent Solutions. * What was learned from the results. * How should the results affect remarketing decisions? The next discussion, on the proposed IARA Online Remarketing Orientation Course, will address modules that will compose this new course and other important course topics. The last discussion will be on Transportation Issues for Non-Captives with Upstream Selling. It will include: * Non-captives issues. * Transportation issues that non-captives have with upstream selling. * Uncovering solutions. Attendance for the IARA Roundtable Series is recommended to auction managers, banks, fleet lease managers, leasing companies, manufacturing organizations, remarketing service providers, remarketing technology providers, rental car companies, vehicle inspection companies, vehicle value organizations, and used-car sales managers.
