CHICAGO – Enterprise Fleet Management in Chicago, a full-service fleet management company for businesses with medium-size fleets, was named to the 2009 "Companies That Care Honor Roll." The honor roll is a program of The Center for Companies That Care, a national, not-for-profit organization dedicated to encouraging and celebrating businesses that prize their employees and are committed to community service.

Members of the Honor Roll were selected by an independent panel of professionals representing a variety of industries.  "Enterprise was selected because of its commitment to helping employees, families and communities thrive, especially in these turbulent times," said Marci Koblenz, co-founder and president of The Center for Companies That Care.

For example, for the Chicago Cares Annual Serve-a-thon over the past three years approximately 175 Enterprise Fleet Management employees and family members participated in painting and renovating three Chicago public schools. In an event facilitated by Companies That Care, Enterprise employees helped purchase books for an elementary school library.  Enterprise employees also spent an afternoon organizing and cleaning a warehouse for Clearbrook, a non-profit organization that enhances the lives of children and adults with developmental disabilities.

"Our affiliation with The Center for Companies That Care has truly helped us identify those in the community who are in need of support, time and money," said Jennifer Mecklenburg, HR Manager for Enterprise Fleet Management in Chicago. "Enterprise is dedicated to giving back to the communities in which we work and we have had a great response from employees that are committed to volunteering and donating."
