Enhancements Announced for WEXOnline
Wright Express announced the latest upgrade of WEXOnline, an account management tool for fleet managers.
Wright Express announced the latest upgrade of WEXOnline, an account management tool for fleet managers. Wright Express LLC, said the enhancements provide more of the tools requested by customers, such as real-time access to reports and customizable card level limits to combat misuse. WEXOnline already allows users to perform account maintenance functions and view detailed transaction reports from a single, integrated platform. With the enhancements made to WEXOnline fleet managers can: better control fraud through purchase alerts delivered via e-mail to inform of potential card misuse; study costs and create efficient archives by accessing and viewing vehicle analysis reports online; pay bills and obtain faster field signoffs by reviewing invoices that immediately post online at the end of the billing cycle; and eliminate paper reports in favor of online access. Transaction details available in online reports include purchase information, driver information, vehicle information, and station information. WEXOnline can also help cut fuel costs and develop fueling strategies by directing drivers to the lowest-priced gasoline within a defined area. WEXOnline is already an account maintenance tool that allows users to perform functions such as adding and deleting card users and performing other account changes online. Wright Express offers a how-to video for drivers, a special handbook for fleet managers and online help. The new WEXOnline officially launched July 29, 2002. The upgrade to WEXOnline is one part of a major technology initiative now underway at Wright Express to enhance the features and products the company can offer to customers and streamline all aspects of customer interface with the company. Wright Express has begun implementing elements of the upgrade and will continue to implement new technology into 2004.
