Energy Xtreme to Showcase Technology at the 2009 COPS West Expo
ONTARIO, CA - Energy Xtreme will display its Independence Package, a comprehensive, solid-state power-management system that consists of dry recyclable power cells that provide energy to operate a police car system's full electrical load with the engine turned off.

Why: The Independence Package saves law enforcement departments money on wasted gasoline, wear and tear on vehicle engines and helps ensure their cars stay in the field due to less maintenance and no dead batteries. The Independence Package reduces overall emissions by using stored power instead of the car's gasoline-powered engine to run its electrical systems. See the Independence Package firsthand at the Expo as it will be featured on a Crown Victoria from the Inglewood Police Department.
