Energy Secretary Chu to Give Keynote Speech at Green Truck Summit
FARMINGTON HILLS, MI — United States Secretary of Energy Steven Chu is set to give the keynote address at the 2012 Green Truck Summit on Monday, March 5. The Green Truck Summit will be held March 5-6 in conjunction with the Work Truck Show 2012 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis.

Dr. Chu is co-winner of the 1997 Nobel Prize for physics. As United States Secretary of Energy, he is charged with helping implement President Barack Obama’s agenda to invest in clean energy, reduce U.S. dependence on foreign oil, address the global climate crisis and create new jobs.
The Green Truck Summit, produced by the National Truck Equipment Association (NTEA) and CALSTART, includes 29 educational sessions. Sessions showcase new technology and provide information on reducing fuel consumption, improving fleet management, comparing clean technology options, funding clean vehicles and more.
