COLUMBIA, SC - An insurance company is paying nearly $5 million to settle a case of a North Carolina driver who struck and killed two bicyclists in South Carolina while driving a company vehicle, according to The State.
The State reported that a federal judge Feb. 4 approved the settlement for the family of one of the victims. In December, a Lancaster County judge approved a $2.5 million settlement in state civil court for the death of the other cyclist, reported TMCnet.com.
