ITASCA, IL - EMKAY Inc. announces its vehicle remarketing department successfully completed the International Automotive Remarketers Alliance (IARA) Certified Automotive Remarketing program. EMKAY is the first fleet management company where all remarketers have achieved this premier designation.

The certification has been awarded to Les Lynott, Manager Vehicle Remarketing; Mona Spoon, Territory Manager; Dave Thomson, Territory Manager; and John Elizaga, Territory Manager. EMKAY's remarketers are four of only nine people in the world to have achieved this distinguished honor.

The IARA Certification Program covers remarketing channels, presale activities, actual-sale activities, post-sale activities, legal and ethics issues, and terminology. Certification requires that each applicant pass all 20 course exams. The intent of the curriculum is to provide a comprehensive insight into the industry from start to finish; strengthen the core knowledge of the professional remarketer; and to raise the overall professionalism of the remarketing industry.

"EMKAY is to be commended for the effort involved to have all their vehicle remarketing staff achieve the IARA Certified Automotive Remarketer designation." Stated Dave Nagy, Senior Vice President Operations, "EMKAY has a tradition and culture of innovation. The IARA certificates received by our remarketers is an industry first. We believe it is imperative to have the best talent and to continue their education in order to further benefit the client's experience. By educating our remarketing professionals combined with EMKAY's other innovative products we are able to maximize vehicle resale values for our clientele."
