EMKAY Wins Prestigious Best Places to Work Award
ITASCA, IL - EMKAY Incorporated was named as one of the 2010 Best Places to Work in Illinois.
ITASCA, IL - EMKAY Incorporated was named as one of the 2010 Best Places to Work in Illinois. This statewide survey and awards program was designed to identify, recognize and honor the best places of employment in Illinois, benefiting the state's economy, its workforce and businesses. The 2010 Best Places to Work in Illinois list is made up of only 20 companies medium-sized list (15-249 U.S. employees) and only 35 total award winners.
Companies from across the state entered the two-part process to determine the Best Places to Work in Illinois. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company's workplace policies, practices, and demographics. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking. Best Companies Group managed the overall process in Illinois and also analyzed the data and used their expertise to determine the final rankings.
"EMKAY has been focused on not only creating the ultimate client experience, but also the best internal employment experience," stated Chris Tepas, Executive Vice President Client Experience. "Through the voices and opinions of our staff and The Best Companies Group, we are elated to see our efforts are paying off."
The awards program began in 2006 and is operated by The Best Companies Group and promoted externally by the Business Ledger in partnership with the Human Resources Management Association of Chicago (HRMAC), the Illinois Chamber of Commerce, the Illinois Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (IACCE), the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) - Illinois State Council, and the Workforce Boards of Metropolitan Chicago.
