ITASCA, IL - Emkay Inc. announced Nov. 15 it has been listed as one of the Top Workplaces 2010 by the Chicago Tribune. The winners of this coveted award have been listed in a special pull-out section of the Chicago Tribune print and online. Emkay competed against hundreds other companies to achieve this honor.
The evaluation for the Top Workplaces program is based upon direct feedback from the employees of the company themselves. The employees completed an independent survey coordinated through Workplace Dynamics. This survey along with the question and answer sections reviewed all aspects of the organization. As a whole, companies were graded based off of various criteria including but not limited to communication, direction, execution, conditions, pay and benefits, etc. Emkay ranked as one of the highest scores in execution, along with earning a #1 best company rating in the communication category. Emkay was ranked 4th overall in their category.
