Elsie Lucia Retires from Estee Lauder Companies After Long Career in Fleet
With stints at Alfa-Laval/DeLaval and Unilever Bestfoods, Lucia finished her career as executive director, fleet and purchasing services at Estee Lauder, where she was hired in 2004.

Elsie Lucia, executive director, fleet and purchasing services at The Estee Lauder Companies in New York City, retired on July 31, 2022, capping a 35-year career in fleet management.
Lucia started her career in 1970 with Alfa-Laval/DeLaval in Ft. Fort Lee, NJ, acquiring fleet responsibilities in 1984. In 1994, Lucia moved to Unilever Bestfoods North America as fleet and travel services manager in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey.

Lucia accepted a fleet position in 2004 with The Estee Lauder Companies in New York City which expanded to include purchasing services. Lucia was with The Estee Lauder Companies for almost 18 years.
In addition to being a past chapter chair of the NAFA New Jersey Chapter and the editorial chair of NAFA national, Lucia was the past president of the Automotive Fleet & Leasing Association (AFLA) serving from 2007-2008. Lucia also served on numerous advisory boards of fleet management companies during her career.
She and husband Sal reside in Hopewell Junction, NY, along with their new golden retriever, Jack.
