EnVue Telematics is now offering eDriving’s Mentor Telematics Service Partner (TSP) program on its list of services through a partnership that is designed to provide more fleets with access to behavior-based risk management technology.
Technology of the Mentor TSP program connects a customer’s existing Geotab fleet management solution with eDriving’s driver risk management platform, Virtual Risk Manager, to help reduce incidents, collisions, MVR license violations, and total cost of fleet ownership. This means fleet managers and drivers can use both systems for data-driven risk management solutions, according to the company.
eDriving’s flagship Virtual Risk Manager program supports fleet managers in identifying, training and coaching their most at-risk drivers, according to the company.
The Mentor TSP driver safety solution offered through EnVue Telematics allows those using Geotab systems – which are also offered by EnVue telematics – to seamlessly connect with the VRM platform to reduce injuries, collisions, MVR license violations, and total cost of fleet ownership. Mentor TSP uses sensors in iOS and Android smartphones to collect and analyze data on the driving behaviors most predictive of risk. These include acceleration, braking, cornering, speeding, and phone distraction.
