SAN DIEGO – Ronald Scioscia has joined DriveCam Inc., a global driver risk management (DRM) company, as chief financial officer. In this role, Scioscia will be responsible for financial and administrative operations at the company and will report to President and CEO Bruce Moeller. Scioscia brings more than 35 years of experience to his new role at DriveCam. During his career, he has held the titles of CFO or vice president of finance at seven public and private companies with revenues ranging from $9 million to $1 billion. Before joining DriveCam, Scioscia was the business consultant working with many companies in the areas of venture capital funding, financial management and controls, debt acquisition, SEC reporting, and M&A activities. Scioscia majored in accounting, and holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Seton Hall University in New Jersey. Scioscia succeeds Dan Hammang, DriveCam CFO for two years. Hammang was a Tatum CFO who took DriveCam from scratch to funding. Hammang will return to Tatum’s core of startups and turnarounds to leverage the Tatum Intellectual Capital platform, focusing on using the financial organization to leverage operational efficiencies.
