Donlen has updated its DonlenDriver mobile app so it's more user-friendly for the fleet drivers who rely on it, the fleet management company has announced.

The app "gives drivers easy access to the tools they need to successfully complete their jobs," according to the Bannockburn, Ill.-based company.

With the new app, fleet managers and drivers have access to the same vehicle and driver data, so drivers can stay in compliance with their company's fleet policy. The new application also leverages industry-leading security authentication processes, according to Donlen.

"With the release of the new DonlenDriver, our goal is to enhance drivers' everyday experience on the road and on the job," said Sofya Ritthaler, Donlen's director of technology products for the product management team. "For the first time, drivers will be able to access driver-specific training courses in Donlen Learn through the DonlenDriver application, which is really exciting as it offers them the opportunity to educate themselves and become more independent."
