NORTHBROOK, IL – Donlen Corporation participated in Chicago's annual Chase Corporate Challenge May 21. More than 17,000 runners from 525 Chicago area companies turned out for the 3.5 mile run/walk event to raise funds for the Greater Chicago Food Depository.
Fifty-eight runners and walkers from Donlen participated in this year's challenge. "It was great," said Ron Bayer, account manager, Donlen Truck Services. "Hanging out with other people from Donlen plus knowing we were raising money for a great cause made the 3.5 miles easy!"
"This is truly a wonderful event for us. Donlen promotes healthy living throughout the year with onsite gym facilities and Weight Watchers meetings. The Chase Corporate Challenge allows us to participate in a healthy, fun activity that promotes company unity," said Roger Setzke, Donlen vice president of client services, and this year's Chase Corporate Challenge team leader.
