Donlen appointed Michael Ferreira as the senior vice president of global sales and marketing, where he will be responsible for improving sales/cross-sales alignment and marketing communications, creating opportunities to optimize revenue from vertical sales channels across all market segments, and developing sales leadership talent across the organization
Ferreira brings more than 30 years of international experience to the role, spanning over five continents, including nearly four years at Donlen, where he most recently served as vice president of sales for strategic accounts, according to the FMC.
“He has a deep knowledge of the global leasing and fleet management markets, mobility products, channel partnerships, and the ability to transform his subject matter expertise into profitable sales results,” Donlen President Tom Callahan said of Ferreira.
In addition to the recent incorporation of the Hertz Fleet Leasing sales team, he will also be responsible for Donlen’s international partnerships.
Before joining Donlen, Ferreira fulfilled various global sales and marketing leadership roles at Volkswagen AG, representing exclusive captive finance brands such as Porsche, Bentley, Lamborghini, and Bugatti Financial Services in Australasia, Brazil, Europe and North America. Prior to these roles, he represented GE Fleet Services in Australia & New Zealand (ANZ), Avis RAC and Avis Fleet Services in Sub-Saharan Africa in various executive leadership capacities.
