At the first major auto show of the year, Dodge executives will reveal its newest concept vehicle during a news conference on Jan. 2.
The Chrysler Group has promised to abandon its current cab-forward styling when it replaces the Dodge Intrepid and Chrysler 300M and Concorde with rear-wheel-drive models. An unauthorized photo in Automotive News indicates the new styling direction at DaimlerChrysler. Look for a low hood line, tall wheel openings, and a lower greenhouse.
“This all-new concept is very significant for the Chrysler Group,” comments Trevor M. Creed, senior vice president of design at DaimlerChrysler. “It provides a strong glimpse of where we are going in the future plus a new level of innovation that is second to none.”
