FITCHBURG, MA —Delphi has chosen Chevin´s FleetWave to meet its fleet vehicle and asset management requirements for its fleet. Using FleetWave, a Web-based fleet management information system, Delphi will enable employees to use My Delphi, the employee Intranet portal, to access pertinent fleet-related data and reporting on a real- time basis. FleetWave was launched in the North American market in 2002 when Chevin Fleet Solutions established an office in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. Delphi will use FleetWave to capture and manage fleet operating details, such as fleet use, short and long-term vehicle assignments, vehicle procurement and remarketing, personal and business mileage, risk management details, and pool car assignments. Additionally, it will enable the company to gain control over the ever-changing upfitted engineering equipment installed on the Delphi evaluation vehicles. These are an integral part of Delphi´s continual product development for automotive manufacturers around the world.
