DaimlerChrysler Fleet Operations announced that it has created the DC Commercial Fleet ePool program to assist fleet customers in planning their 2004-model year Fall and Spring order cycles during the Intrepid and Concorde build-out. Under the program, DaimlerChrysler will “fleet spec” a high percentage of its August-December 2003 fleet production of Intrepid and Concorde vehicles to be built into the DC Commercial ePool. The DC Commercial ePool vehicles will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis. According to DaimlerChrysler Fleet Operations, fleet customers wishing to purchase ePool vehicles should reserve vehicles as early as possible, but no later than Sept. 15, 2003 to coincide with the traditional Fall order timing. Reserved vehicles will be shipped from the ePool, at the fleet customer’s direction, for driver delivery as late as December 2003. Fleet specs for the Intrepid and Concorde vehicles will include, but not limited to, anti-lock brakes, AM/FM/CD radio, power driver seat, side airbags, remote keyless entry system, daytime running lights, speed control, tilt steering wheel, power windows, and power door locks. Vehicle colors will be an array of available 2004 colors, replicating the highest level of fleet use color combinations.
