Dale Hewitt Promoted to President of ADESA Canada
Dale Hewitt has been appointed president of ADESA Canada, a subsidiary of Indianapolis-based ADESA Corp. Hewitt replaced outgoing ADESA Canada president, Brian Warner, who has been named president of ADESA Corp. The management change will take effect Oct. 1, 2001. Hewitt, a professional auctioneer, has been in the automotive remarketing industry for 30 years. From 1971 to 1999, Hewitt was general manager of Vancouver Auto Auction. ADESA Canada acquired Vancouver Auto Auction in 1999. From July 1999 to January 2001, Hewitt was the Western Canadian regional manager for ADESA Canada. In January 2001, he was promoted to chief operating officer of ADESA Canada. He is a member of the National Auto Auction Association (NAAA).
