DaimlerChrysler Services Announces Key Executive Appointments in North America
DaimlerChrysler Services North America announced the appointment of several key executives to the captive finance arm for DaimlerChrysler.
DaimlerChrysler Services North America announced the appointment of several key executives to the captive finance arm for DaimlerChrysler. Paul Knauss was appointed vice president, Chrysler Financial, reporting to Jürgen Walker, president and CEO, DaimlerChrysler Services North America. In this position, Knauss is responsible for all of the activities within Chrysler Financial in North America, as well as DaimlerChrysler Services Canada and DaimlerChrysler Insurance Company. Knauss replaces Thomas McAlear in this position, as McAlear will be retiring in order to pursue other opportunities. During his 27-year career, McAlear built a solid foundation for the Chrysler Financial brand through the development of strong partnerships with employees and dealers. Mark Manzo, formerly vice president, Chrysler Brands Marketing, will replace Knauss as vice president, Customer Service reporting to Walker.
