Daimler Trucks Announces Top Management Changes in Asia
Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation and Daimler India Commercial Vehicles Pvt. Ltd. that cooperate together under the Umbrella of Daimler Trucks Asia, have announced personnel changes in their Board of Management.

Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation (MFTBC) and Daimler India Commercial Vehicles Pvt. Ltd. (DICV) that cooperate together under the Umbrella of Daimler Trucks Asia, have announced personnel changes in their Board of Management.

KIRCHMANN
Albert Kirchmann, currently head of Daimler Trucks Asia, will become Chairman of Daimler Trucks Asia as of April 1, 2015. In this position, he will consult and support the company’s strategic development and will continue to represent Daimler on the political level as well as in industry associations in Japan. Working in the company since 1984, Kirchmann has held various leadership positions in the areas of planning, controlling, and strategy over many years. He assumed his current position in June 2009.

Under his leadership, our Asia business has successfully grown together under the roof of Daimler Trucks Asia,” said Wolfgang Bernhard, member of the Daimler Board of Management with responsibility for Daimler Trucks & Buses. “His great personal engagement during the triple catastrophe of the Earthquake crisis in 2011 shows, that Albert Kirchmann acts with heart, mind, and passion for employees and society. We are pleased that he will continue to contribute to our company’s success as Chairman of Daimler Trucks Asia.”
Takao Suzuki, currently MFTBC Chairman of the Board, will become Senior Adviser as of April 1. 2015. With the company since 2008, Suzuki has led the company’s external affairs and corporate ethics.
Marc Llistosella, currently head of Marketing, Sales & Aftersales Trucks Asia & Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV), will become head of Daimler Trucks Asia (FUSO and BharatBenz) as of April 1, 2015. He entered the then Daimler-Benz AG in 1994 and held various management positions in sales and strategy. From the beginning of the planning phase, Llistosella was responsible for Daimler Trucks’ market entry in India, leading the successful development of the new brand BharatBenz. In August 2014, he took over responsibility for the entire MFTBC product portfolio.
Michael Kamper, currently managing director Trucks at Mercedes-Benz UK, will become new head of Marketing, Sales & Customer Services Trucks Asia as of March 1, 2015. In the company since 1995, Kamper has proven his expertise in truck business in various leading positions in international sales and customer experience.
These changes have been decided by the Board of Management, Daimler AG, and are subject to approval by the Board of Directors and the Shareholder’s Meeting of MFTBC.
