Fleet fuel-card supplier Comdata Inc. has acquired eFueling Technologies, a fuel management company owned by Woodfin Oil Company and based in Austin, Texas.

Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
The companies had developed a Web-based controller system for unattended fueling sites to track transaction data and activity called SmartSight that was released in 2013.
The transaction gives eFueling management systems access to a global audience, said Jack Woodfin, president of Woodfin Oil Co. For Comdata, eFueling tools should help improve operations for fleet clients.
"The acquisition of eFueling Technologies supports our continuing commitment to growth in fleet fueling market," said Randy Morgan, executive vice president of the fleet division at Comdata.
