Chrysler Pacifica Minivans Recalled for Stalling
Fiat Chrysler Automobiles is recalling 198,731 of its 2017 to 2019 Pacifica minivans because they may stall or lose power steering due to improperly installed wiring, according to the automaker.

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles is recalling 198,731 of its 2017 to 2019 Pacifica minivans because they may stall or lose power steering due to improperly installed wiring, according to the automaker.
If a vehicle stalls while in motion or the steering effort required to turn the vehicle suddenly changes, it could lead to a crash, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
Pacifica minivans with engine automatic stop-start systems are included in the recall. FCA is unaware of any injuries or crashes due to the defect.
Affected vehicles were manufactured between Oct. 11, 2016, and Nov. 20, 2018.
FCA will begin notifying owners around June 28. Owners can contact Chrysler customer service at 800-853-1403. FCA's number for the recall is V53. The NHTSA campaign number is 19V348.
