Chevrolet's 2016 Trax will be available in an all-new Midnight Edition for an additional $500 above the starting retail price of $26,125 for exterior and interior stylistic upgrades that set the compact SUV apart from other trims.
The Midnight Edition of the Trax is based on the LTZ trim of the compact SUV. Exterior features include black wheels, bezels, beltline molding and door handles, along with a black rear license plate applique. And on the inside, the seats are trimmed with gray accents and the floor mats feature gray piping, according to General Motors.
Chevrolet's 2016 Trax comes equipped with a 1.4L turbocharged engine that offers the efficiency of a small displacement engine. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has rated the Trax at 34 mpg highway for front-wheel-drive (FWD) models.
Connectivity features include an available 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot.
Trax sales were 57,707 for the first 11 months of 2015, placing it second in the segment, with almost 20% market share, according to GM.
Chevrolet's 2016 Midnight Edition Trax goes on sale in February.
