Chevin Fleet Solutions announces the launch of FleetWave Pay as You Go, which provides fleet management software on a monthly payment system with a “no ties” commitment. This is said to open the market and provide access to the company’s Internet-based fleet management software to small fleets. FleetWave was launched in 2001. It is a Web-based application, which the company says means it can be accessed from anywhere in the world — the only requirement being an Internet connection. This is said to be useful for companies with multiple sites, as well as for international companies, since the system can be viewed in different languages. Cost for FleetWave Pay as You Go is dependent upon the size of the fleet, but fees start from $2.50 per vehicle, paid on a monthly basis. The only other costs involved are an initial setup fee and any possible training. The system can be cancelled on 28 days notice.
