AUBURN, CA - California-Nevada fuel jobber Flyers has released a CFN locator application for the iPhone/iPad and for Android smart phones, making up-to-date fuel locations accessible to more drivers.
The free application details CFN sites within 25 miles of the driver's current location or lists fuel sites along a driving route.
"Many drivers use their iPhones and smart phones to keep in touch with family from the road. Now they can use it to easily find CFN locations wherever they are," said Dave Jackson, Nella Oil Co.'s director of commercial fueling. Users can search by "CFN" on the App Store or Android Marketplace. Nella Oil Co. is the parent company for Flyers cardlocks and convenience stores. By the end of 2011, Nella will change all of its divisions to the Flyers brand.
Flyers also offers a mobile locator Web site at http://mobile.4flyers.com.
CFN (Commercial Fueling Network) was established in 1988 to create a North American network that offers integrated fueling card processing solutions to fleet managers and owners. Today, CFN comprises more than 350 independent petroleum marketers.
