CenterOne Financial Services (CenterOne) announced on July 14, 2003, that it has entered into an agreement to manage pro-active lessee contact and vehicle remarketing of the Florida region lease portfolio for The Huntington National Bank (Huntington). Headquartered in Columbus, OH, Huntington provides indirect auto retail, lease and commercial lending products and services through more than 3,000 automobile dealers. Mark Lamlein, senior vice president and Florida region manager for Huntington Dealer Sales, said, “CenterOne has demonstrated their experience handling maturing lease portfolios, which we plan to leverage to surpass our Florida region remarketing goals.” CenterOne’s pro-active management program for Huntington begins 12 months prior to lease maturity. During that time CenterOne will implement direct mail and calling campaigns with maturing lessees to reduce the number of off-lease vehicles returned to Huntington. CenterOne offers a range of third-party servicing solutions, including auto lease, retail contracts and commercial loans, through service centers located in St. Louis, MO, and Mobile, AL.
