CarsDirect.com's Car Comparator Offers Side-by-Side Used and New Vehicle Comparisons
CarsDirect.com debuted its New and Used Vehicle Comparator on Feb. 13. The research tool lets shoppers compare new or used vehicles for purchase criteria, including new car invoice price, used car trade-in value, safety and exterior features, optional equipment, warranty information, etc. The New and Used Vehicle Comparator allows users to compare used vs. new, new vs. new, and used vs. used. The program allows buyers to select among ten different ways to view the vehicle data. Options include MSRP, invoice price, and trade-in value. The site also offers other research tools, such as independent car reviews, buying guides, or real-time consultation with a vehicle specialist. CarsDirect.com has also added one-click access from the Comparator page to the company’s inventory of more than 425,000 private and dealer-owned vehicles, the company says.
