CarCharging Group to Deploy Charging Stations and Develop Charger Location App

CarCharging Group, Inc., a nationwide provider of electric vehicle (EV) charging services is partnering with Nissan to deploy more charging stations in the U.S. The company‘s initial goal is to deploy the 48 Nissan-branded quick chargers to California and on the East Coast.

CarCharging Group plans to initially deploy 48 charging stations in California and on the East Coat.

The company is also developing a mobile application that will provide real-time charging station location information, including information on ChargePoint and Nissan's quick chargers. The app will also provide turn-by-turn directions to the stations.

Nissan's quick charger stations charge a fully depleted Nissan Leaf to 80 percent capacity in approximately 30 minutes.
