SEARCHPASADENA, CA - CALSTART, a California-based clean transportation consortium, launched a natural gas vehicle cooperative purchasing program that allows public and private fleets in the U.S. to purchase natural gas vehicles through a dealer competitive bidding process. The vehicles are all certified by the California Air Resources Board.

The vehicles are all certified by the California Air Resources Board.
The program is available in Arizona, Nevada and California, but there are plans for a possible expansion to other states.
According to NGV Global, the vehicles that will be available through the CALSTART NGV Co-op include the following, and more may become available later:

Ford Crown Victoria
Ford F-150 pickup
Ford F-250 pickup
Ford van
Ford E-350 cutaway
GMC Topkick
GMC Sierra pickup
Honda Civic GX
Chevrolet Express Van
Chevrolet Silverado pickup
