The site enables users to find information on upcoming meetings, register for conferences, join the organization, update company and/or individual profiles in the member directory, seamlessly visit Silver Member websites, and browse related links, notes CHBC President Hank Wedaa. In addition, monthly e-newsletters are posted, along with industry announcements and press releases. “The hydrogen economy can only succeed if the private sector is successful,” Wedaa said, “so the CHBC plays a unique role in the transition. Unlike organizations that target research, we exist to help members build viable businesses. That is becoming increasingly important since the state is emphasizing its reliance on the private sector to build the California Hydrogen Highway.
