The California Fuel Cell Partnership (CaFCP) published a strategic vision that details the significance of establishing a self-sustaining market for fuel cell vehicles, which includes establishing 1,000 hydrogen fueling stations in the state by 2030.
The document “The California Fuel Cell Revolution: A Vision for Advancing Economic, Social, and Environmental Priorities,” broke down three strategic priorities that are needed to accelerate the commercialization of hydrogen and fuel cell vehicles. This includes fostering large-scale infrastructure development for hydrogen, building consumer demand for fuel cell cars, and leveraging fuel cell products to amplify technological innovations, all of which are set to collectively establish economic, social and environmental benefits, according to the document
