BusCon, the nation's largest trade show serving the bus industry, is returning to Chicago's Navy Pier in September. BusCon features the largest number of buses on display in North America; last year in Las Vegas over 80 vehicles were exhibited. The show focuses on the small to mid-sized segment, the bus market's fastest growing sector. BusCon is supported by many of the industry’s vehicle manufacturers and leading product/service providers and will continue to support the needs of bus-using businesses by offering free registrations to the exhibit portion of the event. In addition to the exhibits the show also features an educational program. Three tracks of seminars have been developed by the editorial staff of Metro Magazine, addressing users’ concerns in the areas of equipment, maintenance and operations, and finance. The global threat of terrorism impacting transportation will be discussed during a general session headed by representatives from the Department of Homeland Security. Qualified bus buyers come from a diverse group of businesses. BusCon is endorsed by the American Bus Association, Airport Ground Transportation Association, Illinois Limousine Association, Illinois Motorcoach Association, Trailways, Illinois Public Transportation Association. BusCon's Host Dealer is Midwest Transit Equipment. Registration and more information can be found at: www.BusConExpo.com.
