Kiekert, a locking system provider for the global automotive industry, has appointed Fabio Pires Martins country manager for Brazil. He will manage the company’s branch office in São Paulo. Martins’ duties will include providing support to local customers and promoting Kiekert’s business development on the rapidly growing Brazilian market.

Martins has a degree in mechanical engineering and many years of experience in the international automotive industry, according to the company. Before joining Kiekert, he worked in the areas of product development, program management and distribution for various international automobile companies doing business on a global scale.
