BMWs to Offer Parkmobile Parking Services
Parkmobile allows users of the ParkNow app to locate, reserve, and pay for parking in over 250 cities in the United States and Canada through its Parkmobile Network.
Parkmobile will offer its services to all new BMW vehicles, granting drivers the ability to reserve parking directly through the vehicle's navigation system or companion ParkNow app.
Parkmobile allows users of the ParkNow app can locate, reserve, and pay for parking in over 250 cities in the United States and Canada through its Parkmobile Network, according to the company.
BMW drivers will be able to access Parkmobile’s services directly through their digital dashboard. Using vehicle navigation and GPS systems, BMW vehicles will notify drivers of Parkmobile-enable locations. Drivers can purchase parking sessions through their dashboard without the need of a meter or the ParkNow app. However, mobile app users can manage and extend parking sessions remotely.
Parkmobile’s integration into all new BMW vehicles follows the installment of dashboard reservations into BMW’s 5 Series vehicles in 2016.
