BMW i Mobility Services Expanding ParkNow Parking Spot Reservation Service
BMW's i Mobility Services has partnered with a company called NOW! Innovations. This partnership will allow users of a mobile app and website called ParkNow to not only reserve parking spots in parking garages, but also to reserve on-street parking.
BMW’s i Mobility Services division has signed an agreement with an Estonian tech company called NOW! Innovations, which will eventually allow BMW i Mobility to expand the scope of its ParkNow service beyond parking garages. The ParkNow app and services will allow users to reserve and pay for on-street parking spots via a mobile device. NOW! Innovations is a global provider of mobile payment and billing solutions.
The ParkNow service allows users to book a parking spot in advance, based on price and location. Customers can either use the ParkNow application for an iPhone or Android device or use the ParkNow website. There are currently more than 35 ParkNow stations in and around San Francisco.
