WASHINGTON - BMW of North America LLC is recalling certain MY 2010 X5 and X6 sport activity vehicles because of problems affecting the windshield and roof stability.
The recall covers those vehicles manufactured between Dec. 14, 2009 and Dec. 16, 2009, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's website.
In the upper-right area of the windshield, bonding may be insufficient over a length of approximately 50 centimeters. If the vehicle is involved in a rollover, the stability of the roof could be affected.
