BMW Recalling 76K Vehicles
Because of insufficient lubrication to a vacuum pump, the brake power assistance in these vehicles runs the risk of failing.

BMW of North America LLC is recalling 76,191 vehicles because a vacuum pump that supplies brake power assistance might fail, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reported.
To fix the problem, BMW dealers will make modifications to ensure the vehicles have enough vacuum pump lubrication for the power brakes to work properly. The recall affects model-year 2012-2014 320i, 328i, 320i xDrive and 328i xDrive sedans; MY 2014 328i xDrive Sports Wagons; MY 2012-2013 528i and 528i xDrive sedans; MY 2013-2014 X1 sDrive28i and X1 xDrive28i vehicles; and MY 2012-2014 Z4 sDrive28i roadsters.
