WASHINGTON – BMW of North America LLC is recalling 7,600 2012 model-year 3-Series vehicles in the U.S. because their front-seat head restraints exceed the downward movement limit of 25mm in the highest position. As a result, these head restraints fail to comply with all federal safety standards, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reported.
Vehicles covered by the recall were all manufactured from Oct. 19, 2011 through March 18, 2012.
